We’ve just launched another Jablite innovation – and this time it’s not a product…
We have set up a new consultancy – called Expanding Solutions – so that our team of technical experts can provide advice to our customers that goes far beyond our Jablite product range.
You might be wondering why we are taking this radical step…
The new consultancy is the brainchild of Wayne Brown, Managing Director, Expanding Solutions. Wayne realised that our technical experts – who focus on getting the best performance for a project’s requirements – were frustrated by being unable to recommend or research products that are not produced by Jablite to include in advice and guidance to customers and specifiers.
“Expanding Solutions is the answer,” says Wayne. “The team will be able to recommend the best option – whoever it is supplied or manufactured by – to clients and customers.”
In addition, the newly-created team – which includes employees and associates – gives customers the opportunity to benefit from their wide-ranging network of technical experts, testing bodies and advisory agencies.
As an additional benefit to innovators in the construction sector, Expanding Solutions has a history of expertise in product development, prototyping, testing and getting that all-important product accreditation and will be offering assistance to this as one of its services.
And, this will be available to any manufacturer creating products – even those that have nothing to do with insulation…
However, the team’s core expertise is thermal products and as Steve Broadhurst, Director of Technical Services, explains, “Expanding Solutions will be offering a whole range of services such as Psi calculations, complex U-value calculations, compression and wind up-lift calculations all of which can be accessed as one-offs or as part of an ongoing retainer offer.
“If we cannot offer exactly the service you need I am pretty sure we can find the person who can and help you to manage the process or we will pass you over to them.
“Our aim is to provide different kind of consultancy that puts the customer at the heart of the process and ensures that all our service is centred around the customer’s requirements and that may mean providing you with the best option that is outside of our remit.”
This is another example of how different Jablite is as a business… this entrepreneurial, customer-led vision makes these kinds of actions no-brainers to the Jablite team as Richard Lee, explains: Our view is – if a new consultancy provides a potential opportunity to serve our customers in a better way then let’s do it. The only way we find out if it does offer our customers a valued service is to try it and see.
